I buy from here because I want to support a local business, and not have a middle man like 1800-flowers. Second year in a row they not only didn't have what I ordered on the website, therefore had to make a substitution, but they also didn't deliver the balloon I paid for. Last year, they at least called me to say they didn't have what I ordered, this year I called to check a time, and found out an hour before my wife's birthday flowers couldn't be what I ordered. Again, I only knew this because I called. Last year, they did send the balloon afterward. This year, I opted to just refund my money, because what sense does it make if the balloon doesn't come with the flowers that the recipient already received? That being said, the quality of the arrangement is still nice, and their substitutions work fine. I still get my money's worth. I hope they remedy whatever causes them to not see an entire order at once, therefore don't leave out part of it. 3rd times a charm. I order flowers for my wife every single birthday, and will give next year one more shot. If I have the same experience, I will have to move on. Again, this isn't toward any employee, or the quality of the work. So, if you go to the shop personally, you'll get a great product and great service. This is just my experience with ordering for delivery.

I knew we could rely on Jerome Florist to provide, sight unseen, beautiful flowers for a recent wake & funeral. The Throgs Neck location opened shortly after the year I was born. I remember my grandparents and various aunts and uncles - all of whom lived in Throgs Neck - relying on Jerome Florist for every event flowers were needed (in my family, that mostly meant funerals!) Jerome never let my family down so I knew I could turn to them now. I'd recommend Jerome without reservation.
